- Uses / Indications: Epnone 25mg Tablet is used in the treatment of high blood pressure and oedema. It treats oedema (fluid overload) associated with heart, liver, kidney or lung disease.
Interactions / Warnings: Taking Eplerenone with alcohol may lead to headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, changes in pulse or heart rate and/or low blood pressure.
- Pregnancy interaction:
- Epnone 25mg Tablet is probably safe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effect on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. Please consult your doctor.
- Expert advice:
- Avoid potassium-rich supplements or salt substitutes when taking Epnone. Notify your doctor if you experience dizziness, diarrhoea, vomiting, fast or irregular heartbeat, swelling in feet, or difficulty breathing. It is important to get blood pressure and potassium levels checked regularly when taking Epnone. Do not take medicines such as ketoconazole, clarithromycin, nefazodone, ritonavir, and nelfinavir along with Epnone.

- Epnone 25mg Tablet is a potassium-sparing diuretic. It lowers blood pressure and swelling by removing the extra water and electrolytes from the body without loss of potassium.
